You can search for a group you have already created or create a new group.
If you want to create a new group simply name and describe the group and then begin searching. Once you have created a group you will have the option to either send the group a message, send them a text, invite them to an event, assign them a task, copy their ID numbers to easily make a group in Kamar or print the list of group members
Types of search
You can search for a single person and add them to your group. This is useful if you want to send a message to a small group of students. You can also search for and message a whole year group if necessary.
Searching for student with Further Education Interests
You can search for students who are interested in various further education options here.
The polytechs, Universities and other training providers listed will be those you have set up in Career Setup under Further Education.
If you want to identify year 12 or 13 students who have shown interest in EIT, click on polytechs and select Eastern Institute of Technology.
You then have the option of choosing to filter your search by year group.
Tick year 12 and 13 under the “Include years” tab
Then click “Add group” to find the students.
Once you have found the group you have the option to add single students or delete students from the group. Once the group is finalised you can send them a group message or invite them to an event.
Occupational Interest Search
You can search for groups with similar occupational interests by clicking the year level you would like and then search by either Job Title, Industry of Major Category within the Industry.
If you search by Industry or Major Category you can still search within those students for specific job titles.
Once you have found the group you have the option to add single students or delete students from the group. Once the group is finalised you can scroll down to 'Actions with the group' and either send them a group message or invite them to an event.
